Good morning travels!

Let’s start our journey around the world from one of the most appreciated country by travelers and our home: Italy!

We will depart from Venice, ofter first stop of the younger aristocratic `s trips, who travelled Italy in the XVII century to learn and study the arts and culture of the country. Many of you will very likely wrote down on their bucket list a tour of St Mark Basilica or a nice walk in the lively atmosphere of Rialto market and want to taste a local cicchetto, a typical venetian tapas. However, have you ever thought to create a memory of a lifetime with your loved one on top of Scala Contarini del Bovolo, which can be completely privatized for you. Why not at sunset for a private aperitivo or dinner overlooking Venice?

Now, let’s head south and reach the great emperor of Rome. You cannot skip a day discovering the Ancient Rome, with its majestic Colosseum and the ruins of the Roman Forum, the old town where you will walk by the houses of the great emperor Augustus and Livia on top of Palatin Hill. Then, take a walk in the most lively neighborhood of the town: Trastevere, the best way to discover the area is eating a gelato while crossing the tiny streets till you reach the stairs which lead to Gianicolo. Enjoy the great beauty from the top at sunset!

Rolling south you will reach the town of Naples, take a walk along the sea side and stroll behind the the ancient Borgo Marinaro behind Castel dell`Ovo. Go up to the top of the fortress and admire the view of the golf in its entire beauty. Do not forget to eat a delicious pizza in via Partenope and start planning your trip to Amalfi Coast. Before heading to Positano, dedicate a day trip to the marvelous Campi Flegrei, from latin it means burning land as it is home of the Solfatara vulcano where you can take a tour of the vulcano and then explore Baia, the ancient summer retreat of the great Roman emperors.

Last stop of our Grand Tour requires a short flight ride to Sicily island. Arrive Catania, and head to Taormina for a visit of the Greek Theater. Take a jeep ride up to Mt Etna and then enjoy the beauty of the marvelous Syracuse and its island, better known as Ortigia. Did you know that Ortigia is the only place int he world, besides Egypt, where is still active the cultivation of papyrus plants? Then drive west to reach Agrigento for a nightly tour of Valley of the Temples, only in season! End your trip in Palermo and immerse yourselves in the lively atmosphere of Ballaro`s market, before exploring the arabic flair Cathedral.
